Nina Singh studied MA at Neru University, New Delhi. She later enrolled in MPA at Harvard Kennedy School. Nina also moved to the USA to study at the Massachusetts Institute Of Technology. She was all ready to clear her examinations and become an IPS officer. Nina came back to India after studying.
She cleared the UPSC exam, India’s toughest exam. Nina started serving as an IPS officer after her training at SVPNPA, Hyderabad. Her first posting was in Manipur and worked there for a long time. She has broken several records as a first woman in the field. She is the first woman to become chief of CISF Airport security. Nina is also the first woman IPS to work in Rajasthan.
