Bharat Tex 2024 PM Modi Inaugurates the Largest Textile Event In India
Bharat Tex 2024 is the event taking place in Bharat Mandapam, Delhi. The place gets its inauguration ceremony done on 26 July 2023. Owned by the Government Of India, the place is highly utilized for organizing different exhibitions, meetings, and conferences. Originally, the place held the G20 summit as well. The Bharat Tex 2024 Textile event will take place from 26 February 2024 and goes till 29 February 2024. As it will be the largest textile event, there will be work of 40+ countries’ exhibitors. Buyers from different places will join the event.
PM Modi decides to inaugurate the event to make India’s new identity in the textile industry. People from other countries will know about the rich culture and heritage of India’s Textiles. Thus, India will have an advantage to be an exporter later on. Silk Fabrics & ready garments are already exported from India, making the country one of the largest producers of Textiles and Apparel.
India will be focusing on promoting Kasturi cotton. PM Modi mentioned that the government is providing support to all the cotton, jute, and silk producers. If we talk about the event, there will be states like Maharashtra, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh.
They all will be working as partner states. For example, Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra will work as Partner States. The other group will be Gujarat, Telangana, and Madhya. The country has a history in the Textile already. Showcasing their work will place India on a pedestal above all.
